He entered Iniversity of Michigan with the class of70. and early won and ever maintained a high position in theesteem of his classmates. He was a meml)er of the Philozetiandebating club, the .\l])ha Xu literary society and the Phi DeltaTheta fraternity. He died at Ann Arbor when he had nearlvcompleted a foiu \cars course of study.
