A great novelty which is winning the admira- tion of all who see it. Produced by a French hybridizer and exhibited by him at the Inter- national Horticultural Exhibit held in London, England, May, 1912. The London Daily Mail had offered a gold cup for the best new rose exhibited. Mr. Ducher won the cup with this beauty in competition with the world's greatest Rose Growers. The buds are coral-red shaded with yellow at the base, the open flower of medium size, semi-double, of a superb coral-red, shaded with yellow and bright rosy scarlet passing to shrimp-red. The bud is long, pointed and slender. Another rose among the best dozen of America, chosen by the American Rose Society. We con- sider it the best of its color.
