The Ohel Jakob synagogue (from the Hebrew for "Jacob's Tent", built in 2004-2006 as the replacement for Munich's original main synagogue destroyed by the Nazis in June 1938. It was designed by architects Rena Wandel-Hoefer and Wolfgang Lorch.
