Elwanda Baugh, an exercise observer from the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security, applies fake blood to the simulated injury of Sgt. Russell Diggs, an instructor from the 266th Quartermaster Battalion during Fort Lee’s Talon Shield 16 full-scale active shooter exercise Aug. 23. Diggs was one of the many role players who participated in the exercise that tested the installation’s response to an emergency.
