A mid-18th century quintessential textile factory located in the north of England. The mills brought great wealth to the country during the the reign of Queen Victoria and many businessmen made a lot of money. However, life was hard for workers with a working day lasted for twelve hours or more, and they had to move quickly to keep up with the machinery, with a possibility of being sacked for falling behind. Even worse children, as young as six, carried out dangerous tasks, such as clearing blockages on spinning frames in mills.
