Orthodontic brace fitting. Use of ultraviolet (UV) light to set the cement holding the brackets (not seen) of an orthodontic brace to a patient's teeth. The small metal brackets will be connected with a wire. The wire will be tightened and will slowly, over weeks and months, correct the alignment of the teeth. The procedure is usually performed on children, though adult teeth can also be realigned.
