After Alexander Macks death at Germantown in 1735,Michael Frantz was elected as minister in the ConestogaCongregation and Johannis Landis as deacon in 1729 to 1734, thirty-seven persons were baptized byElder Peter Becker. Their names appear in a record nowin possession of Elder Hershey GrofT, of Bareville, of the additions to this congregation by baptism andotherwise, together with elections of deacons, ministers andelders, are also found in said record and generally agreewith the list given in Brumbaughs History of the Breth-ren, pp. 299-315. In Brumbaughs work, p. 313, the state-ment occurs that from 1755 to 1763 no record was the record above referred to, the following is taken tosupplement the record of Brumbaugh: In 1753 George Miller, John Bengelbach and wife, RudyYound, Katie Hartman, Margaret Geib were added andJacob Stoll elected to the Barn where Rail on Bridge-way Served to Divide the Brethrenfrom the beisselites, near mlllway.
