Engelbert II van Nassau 1480-1490 Master of the Portraits of Princes Dutch, The Netherlands, Count Engelbert had himself portrayed with his hunting falcon, like a typical member of the nobility. His family had governed parts of Brabant for years. Engelbert served the Dukes of Burgundy in various administrative and military capacities. In 1496, Philip the Fair appointed him as his agent in the Low Countries.
