Suchprecautions are only needed, of course, when full bags haveto be taken about. With a bag full of oxygen, the next step is to force thisout with some regularity of pressure, to do which the bag isplaced between a pair of pressure, boards, the top one ofwhich is loaded with weights. In all forms of the lime-lightwith only one bag filled with oxygen, pretty much the same THE LIME-LIGHT 45. Fig. 26.—Bag in use pattern is used, as shown in fig. 26, which speaks for is only necessary to say, in case a pair of boards is home-made, that the pair must not come closer at the hinges thanhalf-an-inch apart, toallow for the thick-ness of the bag whenflattened. If this isnot attended to, theboards will not shut,or use the last por-tion of the gas. Incase of an emergency, a bag has been ere now laid on the floor, and a black-board,or the ends of a couple of reversed forms, hinged down tothe floor by two pairs of staples or hooks driven into floorand board respectively. 25. Tubing.—The best soft grey or red vulcanised tubingshould be used; common harsh grey, or cheap red, spoilsvery soon. Tubing with spiral wire inside must be scrupu-lously avoided; the wire soon rusts, breaks, and chokes andperforates the tubing. There should be a clear T5U bore foroxy-calcium jets,
