In the skull roof the frontals, postorbital bars and zygomatic arches are lacking, while in the ventral midline there is a gap in the pterygoid-basisphenoid central stem at the level of the internal carotid artery foramina. There is thus no contact between the front and rear halves of the skull, but as both portions agree completely in size, in colour and in texture of bone and matrix, and were (apparently) in close association when collected, there seems no reason to doubt that they represent parts of a single individual. lac. for. 2 cm Fig. 1. In the snout the premaxilla is smoothly curved and slopes far back between the nasals. Behind the nostril the maxilla extends up to meet the nasal, and the septomaxilla is confined to within the nostril. The nasals form low bosses above the nostrils. Although neither side of the palatal rim is completely.
