Mileham is a village approximately midway between East Dereham and Fakenham in mid-Norfolk on the old coaching road from Kings Lynn to Norwich and then on to Great Yarmouth. The school founded in 1677, but it closed in 2015, like many rural schools with a dwindling number of children attending. This is taken from an old black and white negative – a vintage Victorian/Edwardian photograph.
