These figures plainly show the conformity of the three specimens, as do also the figures of the corresponding longitudinal pennons (textfigs. 40—42). The expansion of the parietal muscles on the column is rather inconsiderable. The ciliated and the intermediate streaks are well-developed, in the proximal part of the filaments there is a distinct boundary streak. Danielssen states that acontia are present, but that is certainly not so. The species is dioecous. Remarks.
