In the Muntanyes de Prades is the hermitage and viewpoint of Sant Joan de la Muntanya. It is said that the princess Elionor d'Urgell retired to a hermitic life in a cave near the hermitage, from the year 1414, when her brother Jaume II d'Urgell was arrested, until his death in 1430. What is not known is whether it was she who founded the hermitage or just restored it. Above the hermitage there is a rock from which you can enjoy the best views of the Conca de Barberà region.
