The super moon rises over the illuminated skyscrapers in the lower Manhattan skyline along One World Trade Center commonly referred to as the Freedom Tower during the blue hour of twilight. The super moon has a warm hue due to the bounce of color from the setting sun. The colors of the skyline are reflected on the water as is the moon light. This month's super-moon was the biggest and brightest of this year. Also seen is Battery Park and the Financial District section of New York City, New York.
