We then went on to our old camp near AcquiaLanding, reaching there at 4 P. M. Very glad to get back, and quite had a cracker and a half-tin of cofifee, without sugar, for my breakfast. 8th. All appeared to be tired enough to lie quiet to-day. 9th. We received orders to-day that we were discharged, our term ofservice having ended, and were to start for Harrisburg on Alonday. 1lost 7 pounds on the last march.
