Soldiers with Fort Indiantown Gap’s inaugural Air Assault course rappel from a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter operated by pilots from the Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training Site July 20, 2017. The 10-day course designed to prepare Soldiers for insertion, evacuation, and pathfinder missions that require the use of multipurpose transportation and assault helicopters. Fort Indiantown Gap is one of only seven training sites to offer Air Assault School.
