Miss Hyde lost her own sight, temporarily,through illness when she was 5 years old. Sheis wealthy and is the first teacher to be appointedto the staff of the A. B. F. B. Permanent BlindRelief War Funds institution for the blinded sol-diers of France, which is to be opened in Paristhis spring.
