NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (Feb. 10, 2023) The fleet replenishment oiler USNS Kanawha (T-AO 196) receives two million gallons of fuel, Feb. 10, 2023, from Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay to support the multinational humanitarian disaster relief efforts following a series of earthquakes that struck central-southern Turkey on Feb. 6, 2023. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore installation which enables and supports , Allied, Coalition, and Partner nation forces to preserve security and stability in the European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility.
