A gargoyle above the ornate West Doorway of Saint Fin Barre's Cathedral in the city of Cork, Ireland. It was the first major commission for the Victorian architect William Burges, who designed most of Fin Barre's architecture, sculpture, stained glass, mosaics and interior furniture. It was completed in 1879.
