This series was very popular during the first half of the 17th century & was woven in many Parisian ateliers. This composition is not included the Fénaille account of this series (Steele). The borders have some analogies with the (earlier) Paris Diana series (Château d'Anet & Metropolitan Museum) (Campbell).
