Marines with 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2d Marine Division, launch an RQ-20 Puma during Littoral Exercise II (LEX II) at Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue, North Carolina, March 2, 2022. During LEX II, Marines and Sailors aim to practice their ability to discourage a notional adversary’s coercive behavior and contribute directly through deterrence with advanced technology systems. The division tested new tactics and training with multi-domain reconnaissance and counter-reconnaissance teams in accordance with Force Design 2030.
