NBR 2-2-2 on shed
was a 2-2-2 tender engine for express passenger services. 8 engines originally ordered by the Edinburgh & Glasgow Railway and built by Beyer Peacock in 1856-61. All survived to be acquired by NBR in 1865 and they were allocated NBR nos 213-218, 211 & 212.
