Brian, 193rd Special Operations Wing, Air Force Special Operations Command, Middletown, Pa., conduct pre-flight on an EC-130J prior to a mission over Haiti on Jan. 30, 2010. The EC-130's are operating out of Puerto Rico in support of Operation Unified Response in Haiti. The EC-130J Commando Solo is a specially-modified four-engine Hercules transport and is broadcasting AM and FM broadcasts in Creole to inform Haitians on various messages such as what to do when encountering a dead body, where to receive aid, and specific other government messages.
