During the Lunar New Year crowds of worshippers flock to pay homage to Che Kung at Che Kung Miu in Tai Wai, Hong Kong. On the second and third of the days of the Lunar New Year, the temple attracts thousands of worshippers and visitors. These days are said to be auspicious. Worshippers go to the temple to pay homage to General Che Gung, a military commander during the Song Dynasty, seeking blessings of good luck, good fortune and good health.
