In the Wildman mill thestamps weigh 850 pounds; these drop from 7 to 9 inches 96 times perminute; the guides are of iron; the height of discharge is 7^ inches,regulated by chuck-blocks, having a difference of 4 to 2 inches in No. 2 punched tin screen is used. The capacity of the mill had beenabout 145 tons per day under the above conditions, but the height ofdischarge has been lowered not to exceed 6 inches for the purpose ofexperimentation.
