Meyer (DDG 108) and LM24 Cuenca, an Ecuadorian naval vessel, perform a passing exercise in the Pacific Ocean, Nov. 22, 2018 as part of an exercise with the Ecuadorian navy to combat illegal, unregulated, and unreported fishing in the Pacific Ocean. USS Wayne E. Meyer is deployed in support of the Enduring Promise Initiative to reaffirm Southern Command’s longstanding commitment to the nations of the Western Hemisphere.
