PACIFIC OCEAN (May 13, 2017) MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopters assigned to the Blackjacks of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21 pass the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) following an equipment and personnel offload. Makin Island, the flagship of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, is returning to San Diego from a seven-month deployment to the 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operation.
