The Statesman Vintage and Classic Car Rally, held in New Delhi, is one of India's oldest heritage car rallies and has been held annually since 1946. It features some of the oldest, rarest and the most expensive cars in the world. The rally is organised by The Statesman, which is one of India's oldest newspapers and was started by the British. In its entire history, the rally was cancelled just twice - in 1972, soon after the Bangladesh War and later in 1974 due to the OPEC crisis. Now this much-sought after rally is held in Delhi and Kolkata. Here are photographs from the 46th rally held in Delhi in 2012.
