, Urbeis, Alsace, France - Le Memorial du Linge 1915: der Lingekopf in den Vogesen, heute eine Gedenkstaette, war Ort von harten Kaempfen zwischen Deutschen und Franzosen im Ersten Weltkrieg in den Vogesen. Hier fielen hauptsaechlich 1915 ueber Soldaten. Die Bergspitze (986m) wechselte unzaehlige Male das Lager, wobei die Deutschen mit ihren Stellungen auf den Kaemmen die bessere Position hatten. Die Franzosen gruben sich wenige Meter unterhalb ein.
