YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- The brightest and second-brightest planets, Venus (right) and Jupiter come together for a stunning conjunction March 13, 2012 at Yokota Air Base, Japan. A conjunction occurs when two or more plants appear close together in the sky. Although it may look like a shooting star the streak in the center of the photo is actually a C-130 photographed using a eight second time exposure.
