The Close Combat Training Area is used by recruits with Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, to learn and practice Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 13, 2023. MCMAP is an integrated, weapons-based system that incorporates the full spectrum of the force continuum on the battlefield, and contributes to the mental, character and physical development of Marines.
