SEA (June 16, 2016) – The aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike), middle participates with Italian navy shipsin the Flotta Verde exercise as part of the Great Green Fleet initiative. The Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
