Four officers of the First Tank Corps, including Captain Harry H. Semmes and Lieutenant Roy C. Campbell, arrived back in New York aboard the Saxonia on March 10, 1919. The ship brought 1,276 sick and wounded soldiers from Brest, who were then transferred to the debarkation hospital in the Grand Central Palace.
