I am enclosing a sketch showing the houses, with the piping as I have suggested it. The plan sub- mitted provides for a supply main run- ning down the center of each house, about a foot below the ridge, with leads to pipe coils which are placed under the benches. This calls for from seven to fourteen pipes under each bench, which, it seems to me, would dry out the benches rapidly, besides failing to provide heat near the walls and gut- ters, where it is needed to be of best service. I have suggested a plan as follows: Run a supply main down the center of each house about four feet from the ridge, with leads to a 2-inch pipe under each gutter, to pipe coils on the walls below the glass, and to such coils under the benches as would be necessary to furnish sufficient radia- tion. Would it be better to run more pipes near the roof t Is it better to at- tempt to prevent condensation each evening or to allow the moisture to freeze on the glass, as long as dripping does not interfere with the morning . > GREENHOUSE HEATING WITHOUT FUEL AND COST IS IMPOSSIBLE.
