He took charge ofthe office on ^lay 1st, and was confirmed by theSenate in January, 1886. Mr. Liddell is an active Democratic worker,and was the Chairman of the County DemocraticExecutive Committee from 1884 until after hewas appointed postmaster. He has living threechildren, and has buried two. ilr. and .Mrs. Liddell are members of the Baj^-.
