Almost all of the robbers will alight on top of the block, and it they cau't get it away they will soon give up. Now I have never had a colony robbed since adopting this plan. This has been a very hard winter on bees. My neighbors tell me they have lost nearly all of their bees. Most of them are winter- ing on the summer stands. Mine are win- tering nicely in the cellar.
