PAGO PAGO, American Samoa (Oct. 27, 2018) Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86) sails into the harbor of Pago Pago, American Samoa Oct. 27, 2018. Shoup is currently participating in the Oceania Maritime Security Initiative (OMSI) program, a Secretary of Defense program leveraging Department of Defense assets transiting the region to increase the Coast Guard’s maritime domain awareness, ultimately supporting its maritime law enforcement operations in Oceania.
