From an original engraving after Henry Fradelle (1778-1865) From the Hume & Stafford history of England published circa 1868. Title says Mary Queen of Scots and her secretary Chatelar. Probably Pierre de Bocosel de Chatelard who was infamous for his mad passion for the Queen which resulted in his execution.
