Justin Gober, both Marines with 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, examine the depth of a basement in order to pump water out into the street while conducting humanitarian operations in Far Rockaway, , Nov. 4. In coordination with United States Northern Command approximately 86 Marines with 8th ESB, 2nd MLG were deployed to New York to help with relief after Hurricane Sandy by pumping water out of flooded buildings.
