Fareham, Hampshire, UK. 2nd November, 2015. A pedestrian is this evening recovering after being struck by a police vehicle in the Fareham, with one police officer said to be slightly injured. A pedestrian has been injured by a police car in Fareham. The victim, was hit on the Busy A32 Gosport Road this afternoon by an patrol car answering a 999 call in Fareham. A pedestrian has been injured by a police car in Fareham. The victim, was hit on the Busy A32 Gosport Road this afternoon by an patrol car answering a 999 call in Fareham. It is not thought that their injuries are serious. The pedestrian was using the crossing near to the Esso Garage on the A32 when the incident happened. Police closed both lanes of the A32 whilst the victim was treated by Paramedic. They where later taken by ambulance to the QA in Portsmouth. Rush hour traffic at one point was reported to be back up into Gosport follow the collision near Redlands Lane. ©UKNIP
