This bridge is over the Grand Union at Cosgrove in Northamptonshire, UK. This shot is looking north. In the early evening June sun the stone takes on a rich golden colour. The bridge is unusual as it is made of stone and is ornate. The stone has eroded and weathered over the years. Normally canal bridges were built of cheaper brick.
