This year there will be a full procession on November 9 to mark the end of Buddhist Lent. The Thai Royal Barge Procession is a ceremony of both religious and Royal significance that goes back almost 700 years. Sailors are in full ceremonial dress for the rehearsal on the Chao Phraya river.
