The Tuileries Garden or Jardin des Tuileries is a large public garden in Paris, France


The Tuileries Garden or Jardin des Tuileries is a large public garden located between the world famous Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. It was designed and created by Catherine de Medicis as the main garden of the Tuileries Palace (1564). It was opened to the public in 1667, and became a public park soon after the French Revolution.
