Army Soldiers from the Horse Detachment, Regimental Support Squadron (RSS), 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment (11th ACR,) introduce an equine Trooper to members of the Fort Irwin community after a change of command ceremony and cavalry demonstration September, 14, 2022, at the Horse Detachment Stables, Fort Irwin, Calif. “Fort Irwin is a small, isolated community and so giving back, not only to the regiment, but also to the larger community is what the horse detachment is here for,” said Capt. Michael Gates, outgoing 11th ACR Horse Detachment commander.
