Use.— In fractures of the ribs, care being takento apply compresses to their anterior and poste-rior extremities, if the fragments project inwards ;but if outwards, upon the parts themselves. It issometimes useful to add to this the T bandage forthe body, as seen hereafter, in order to prevent theroller from slipping, if the patient, from mania &potu or other causes, should be very SPIRAL OF THE ABDOMEN.
