Stephen Pemberton, of Bain-bridge holme, a magistrate for the palati-nate, married, 2nd May, 1782, Isabella,daughter of George Anderson, esq. of New-castle-on-Tyne, and had issue,George, his heir. Mary-Anne, m. 3rd December, 1817, to J. H. H. Holme*}, esq. a barrister Dr. Pemberton died 27th November, 1831,and was succeeded by his son, the presentGeorge Pemberton, esq. of Bainbridgeholme.
