Pfc. Joshua Carlon of C Troop, 6th Squadron, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, assists the driver during a convoy to the 6-8 CAV motorpool after receiving their M3 Cavalry Fighting Vehicles on Jan. 16, 2018 at Fort Stewart, Ga. This is the first of many combat tracked vehicles the Spartan Brigade will receive this year. The brigade is in the middle of converting into the Army’s 15th armored brigade combat team, the conversion will provide combatant commanders increased capabilities to address global threats.
