Activities on the Coastal road as the dune habitat & grassing of the sands (Accretion), appears to extend across to the Fylde Coast. The Sefton coast is struggling to repel two invaders – the sea and tough grasses sprouting over the beach which will eventually engul the pier as sand dunes form.
