Dolls HOUSE DATING FROM c EARLY 1900’S. MAKER UNKNOWN; THE SITTING ROOM IS FURNISHED WITH THE CELEBRATED FURNITURE MADE IN THE WALTERSHAUSEN REGION OF GERMANY FROM c. 1840 -1880. IT IS IN IMITATON ROSEWOOD WITH GOLD TRANSFER DESIGN TO REPRESENT INLAY AND SOME PIECES WERE INLAYED WITH IVORY. IT IS HIGHLY COLLECTABLE AND THIS PARTICULAR SET OF FURNITURE WAS ONCE IN THE COLLECTION OF MRS. GRAHAM GREENE (VIVIEN GREENE) WHO WAS THE LEADING WORLD AUTHORITY ON DOLLS’ HOUSE HISTORY.
