London, England. 1908 - A view of the Court of Honour at the Franco-British Exhibition held near Shepherd's Bush, London, an area which is now called White City. The Exhibition was a public fair held between 14 May and 31 October 1908 and at the time the largest of its kind held in Britain. It celebrated the Entente Cordiale between the United Kingdom and France, signed in 1904. It attracted 8 million visitors.
